Dr. Johnny Barboza, D.C.
Dr. Johnny received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Biology with an emphasis in Motor Development and Function from the University of California, Davis. Soon after graduation, fate turned him onto Chiropractic, where he immediately fell in love with the profession.
Dr. Johnny attended Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, CA, achieving the honorable distinction of Summa Cum Laude upon graduation in 2014. There, he received extensive training in Pediatric and Obstetric Chiropractic care, which afforded him the incredible opportunity to provide treatment for the participants in a study exploring the positive benefits of chiropractic care on children living with Autism.
Dr. Johnny began his Chiropractic career in Sports Medicine. To date, his career has been highlighted by his work with the athletes representing the 2016 United States Men’s and Women’s Olympic Water Polo Teams; athletes at the 2016 Vans U.S. Open; athletes at the 2016, 2018, & 2019 Gymnastics Long Beach Open; and by his work in a federally qualified health center, providing treatment for the underserved populations of Anaheim, Long Beach, and Orange in the state of California. His treatment experience extends from patients as early as five days old, to those who have lived well into their 90’s.
More recently, Dr. Johnny has discovered a passion for helping patients with Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJD). By providing a comprehensive approach to a complex issue, Dr. Johnny has found great success in healing those with TMJD.
A native of California, Dr. Johnny looks forward to bringing his unique style of treatment and expertise to the communities surrounding the Portland area.
